The ATLAS experiment started recently as the first beams circulated the Large Hadron Collider in all directions. Sceintists and media, it was fantastic to get an information for the truth at CERN to run the startup of the LHC. If you plan to travel CERN, for safety reasons, high-heeled or open-toed shoes, flip-flops or sandals are not permitted.There are very strict safety rules that apply during visits by the general public.

Swiss francs and euros are the only currency that accepted by CERN’s restaurants and pubs. The use of cameras and camcorders for tourists is free. Gifts of your visit to CERN and many items of informational documentation may be purchased at the shop in the Reception in Building. CERN shop accepts credit cards, Swiss francs and euros in cash.
